01

About these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Praxeum website and any Praxeum services made available to you (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a school or another institution, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. A separate written agreement between Praxeum and your institution takes precedence over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

02

The service

Praxeum provides teacher-led, shared-device verbal and quantitative reasoning practice. Teachers prepare and review question sets before student delivery and receive section-based formative results after completion.

The Service is currently intended for controlled pilot use by participating institutions. Public teacher signup is not available, and staff access is activated through institution invitations. Features and practice sections may vary during the pilot.

03

Accounts and access

Where an account is provided, you must:

  • provide accurate information and keep it up to date;
  • keep your credentials confidential and use only the account issued to you;
  • take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access; and
  • tell your institution or Praxeum promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except to the extent caused by Praxeum.

04

Your responsibilities

Teachers and participating institutions are responsible for:

  • reviewing practice content before making it available to students;
  • deciding whether the Service and selected content are appropriate for each student;
  • supervising shared-device sessions and managing device handoff and handback;
  • using results as formative feedback alongside, not instead of, professional judgement; and
  • obtaining any permissions or authorisations required for their use of the Service.

05

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service unlawfully, harmfully, or in a way that infringes another person’s rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, another account, or related systems;
  • interfere with the Service, introduce malicious code, or probe or bypass security measures;
  • copy, scrape, extract, or redistribute question content except as expressly authorised;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where that restriction is prohibited by law; or
  • misrepresent Praxeum results as official, diagnostic, standardized, or psychometrically calibrated scores.

06

Practice content and results

Praxeum is independent formative practice. It is not an official CAT4 assessment and is not psychometrically calibrated. The Service does not provide diagnostic or standardized scores.

Results reflect a particular practice session and must not be used as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions, ranking, certification, placement, or conclusions about a student’s ability. Teachers remain responsible for reviewing content and interpreting results in context.

07

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, branding, and question content, is owned by Praxeum or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any of those rights.

Subject to these Terms, Praxeum gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for authorised educational purposes during your permitted access period.

08

Student information

The public static website does not collect student data. Any student information processed through a separate Praxeum product must be handled in accordance with the arrangements applicable to the participating institution and any privacy information provided with that product.

Do not enter student information into the public website or send it through unapproved channels.

09

Availability and changes

The Service is being developed and evaluated through a pilot. Features, content, and availability may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. Praxeum does not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. Praxeum is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

10

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Praxeum disclaims implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Educational outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, Praxeum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from or related to use of the Service.

11

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Praxeum may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, a security risk, unlawful use, or the end of a pilot or institution arrangement.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including those concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability.

12

General terms and contact

Praxeum may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

Questions about these Terms can be raised through your participating institution or your usual Praxeum contact.
